With the reduced space of the status bar there is no longer the small alarm clock icon indicating the alarm is set even when in control center.

If you use ios 11 or later and you connect headphones or speakers to your iphone the alarm plays at a set volume through the built in speakers on your iphone as well as wired headphones and speakers. If i turned off the alarm it went away. Any way to turn this icon back on or is it simply gone now.
